Soul Snacks: Whispers of Possibility

Stardate: 1907.26 feels like territory unknown

This week, something broke open in me. Whether it was the new moon in Cancer during a mercury retrograde or it was simply just time, I found myself refusing to entertain old thoughts and behavioral patterns. It can be so easy to slip into fear and negativity and worry but I chose to not do that to the best of my ability and to be gentle with myself when I momentarily slipped into worry. I am, without a doubt more centered than I have ever been and most definitely less inclined to pick things apart trying to make sure things stay that way or prevent some bad thing from happening or trying to manage an outcome that has yet to pass. I'm just here. Moment to moment. This is new. I will preface that I have been having experiences that have physically manifested to allow be to feel open and continue to trust what I sense is coming.

I can sense that we are still in transition. From the old to the new. In the sense that the past truly is dissolving and the future is still unfolding and we are somewhere here in the in-between. We are all experiencing different things for different reasons so please don't compare yourself to me or anyone else on this journey. Honor yourself and what you're experiencing. Dismantling the belief systems we were raised in is no easy feat and everyone will have their own process of going from understanding things cerebrally to embodying physically (changing behaviors and choices based on what you understand mentally). There is no one size fits all, and I'm not sure there ever was. It's more of a piece meal approach to a truly sovereign experience in life where some things may fit and other's don't but we are all quilting a unique pattern as we move through in this experience.

I'm calling this particular transition greasing the wheel. We are still revving up for something much bigger but we are experiencing little manifestations and connections that are preparing us for even more. Getting us accustomed to things working out in little ways and then boom, that one thing you've been waiting for arrives and you're so used to being in flow it doesn't even spazz you out.

The little things that affirm and reflect all the work you've done to get here is healing your heart and opening you up to the romance of life. Anchoring in an unshakeable acceptance of yourself and your choices and your journey. There is an aspect of you that has been awoken and steadfastly keeping you even keel even when you can't make sense of why you know everything is ok, even without proof or prediction of the long haul. Just allow everything to flow if you can.

If you're still feeling worry and fear and resistance, try to let go. When I have these moments, because in transition this is very possible and very normal - where you can't go back but you can't quite for forward, I continue to say to myself, "I don't know what I don't know so I let it all go". This helps to stop the logical mind from jumping to conclusions using old data to try to make sense of what's happening now - which often creates more doubt, worry, confusion, and frustration. And if you are still having emotional outbursts of frustration and anger that's actually a really good thing - you don't need to worry about it being a setback or that something is wrong - you're moving out stuck energy and creating space for a breakthrough.

I had an epiphany yesterday about fear and facts. Fear makes us seek out certainty with facts. It overrides our intuition and gut knowing trying to find footing when things feel uncertain. But facts can only ever refer to the past tense. They can only ever determine and conclude past events - they are wholly inaccurate when predicting the future because the information and experiences for that future have not yet come to pass. So essentially your intuition and gut knowing are more accurate because they are getting information, in real time, in the present moment. And this can be hard because you may need to wait to be proven right.

I want to also touch on what I call the "filter". I don't want to get too much into this because I'm sure I could write an entire blog post on this alone but how we perceive ourselves, our reality, etc is filtered. It's filtered by all kinds of things like opinion or energy of others, our past circumstances, wounding, etc. Sometimes the filter is a lower octave and colors our reality with a negative point of view. Sometimes the filter is clear and aligned with our current state and filters reality with a neutral point of view. Sometimes the filter is expansive and a higher octave and filters our reality with hope and possibility. Those emotional breakthroughs you have will always clear the filter keeping you from seeing things in a way that is conducive to your well-being.

No matter what you can trust yourself. If anything, you can trust yourself to manage or handle whatever comes your way. You may have been made to believe that you need to get ahead of everything in order to be able to handle what transpires but that's just an old belief from an old octave of life you don't quite fit into anymore. Look at all you've been through and you're telling me you can't manage? Even if you are critical of your past choices and decisions - maybe you're embarrassed by them - this isn't a sign that you can't trust yourself. It's the opposite. You're so responsible that you can actually clock where you've made mistakes and chose to improve yourself in response. And that cringey or embarrassed feeling? That's just proof that you've grown from the experience and no longer identify with it. That's HUGE. If you worry about these things and consider all the moving parts, you've probably been managing more than most people already. So have a little faith in yourself, even if you can't trust or have faith in anything else.

What You Can Expect This Week

I am so hesitant to say expect because there are some old ideations I'm learning to shed - like the idea that you need to prepare yourself for disappointment - no, I want to expect good things. That's it. And I won't falter until it's the only thing that comes true. Ballsy, I know, but I'm ok with it lol Not all of these messages will apply and some of you have already experienced them but will continue to shift from the breakthroughs you've had.

Big Leaps + Movement

You will not be able to compare what is starting to transpire to anything in the past. It does not matter if you've been waiting for something for 5 years or something previous to this has taken a long time, that no longer applies. It doesn't matter that you've been in a holding pattern since Christ was a cowboy. How things unfolded prior to this week - all bets are off. The desire to compare what you've experienced to now will actually feel dull and maybe even give you the ick. That's my sign that something I'm considering is old and doesn't actually fit the current experience. So do what you can to buckle up and enjoy the ride.

Let the Information + People Come to You

Unless otherwise inspired. For example, if you feel the impulse or excitement to reach out to someone or go somewhere or do something - lean in. But if you are seeking information outside of you or trying to force something out of fear or lack of certainty, you may feel overwhelmed and unsatisfied. Trust (I know it's a big ask but if you're sensitive to energy at all you are already feeling the momentum) that anything you need, anyone you need, will come to you. Just sit tight and live into life in whatever manner feels good to you right now. You do not need to interfere.

When a Filter Dissolves

Some of you may experience the dissolving of old filters. Imagine being blindfolded on a bright sunny day, and then the blindfold falls off. It's quite the adjustment being in the light after being in the dark for so long. Be gentle with yourself during this experience. Focus on making sure your needs are met and let yourself feel what you need without attaching any stories to it. Sometimes the dissolving of a belief that colours your outlook can feel painful and confusing at first but it's not the state you'll remain in.

Forgive the Details

The devil is in the details and quite frankly things are so messy it's hard to keep track of everything anyways. It's why so many people are exhausted - outside of all the physical and energetic changes they are experiences - their brains are working over time trying to make sense of everything or replaying events from the past. Forgive the details. Let the understanding go for just a little bit so new information and understanding can come in. Forgive yourself, people, things, if you can. You'll feel so much lighter as a result. A weight off your chest if you will. There is a good chance things are coming up in your mind to be forgiven.

Emergence of a New Self

As with all death, new life is born. We have gone through so many transformations it's not surprising that some of you will experience a new version of yourselves emerging. Maybe you have more confidence. Maybe you feel more clear. Maybe you're handling things differently than you ever have. Maybe you're focused on your own happiness. Whatever it is will feel solid and consistent. Not just a little blip or taste of what things can be like. It's something that will slowly become more prominent until nothing of your old self exists. You'll will start having experiences that reflect that as well. Tangible information to support who you are now. It's not everything at once. It's just enough to allow certainty to exist within you no matter what. You've been becoming this version of you for quite some time so it will feel familiar and new all at the same time.
